Sarah Maginnis

Executive Director

Sarah Maginnis has been a transformative force as the Executive Director of CREDA Greater Philadelphia since 2018.

Under her leadership, the chapter has experienced remarkable growth, with membership quadrupling, reflecting her effective outreach and engagement strategies. Maginnis has implemented new programs, and organized dozens of speaker events, industry panel discussions, and fundraisers.

It is Maginnis’s work in diversity, equity and inclusion in commercial real estate that has made her a trailblazer. During her tenure as Executive Director, CREDA Greater Philadelphia established the CREDA-Drexel summer program, designed to introduce high school students in underrepresented populations to careers in commercial real estate. For college students, Maginnis oversees annual internships and externships for area students considering careers in the industry. She also instituted the chapter’s DEI Awards and a DEI luncheon to honor graduates of the summer program.

Maginnis has ensured that CREDA Greater Philadelphia’s commitment to career development extends to those who are just starting out in commercial real estate. The focal point of this work is the annual Developing Leaders program for real estate professionals under the age of 35, which Maginnis oversees.

A rising figure in the city’s real estate community, Maginnis helped steer the creation of the Philadelphia Real Estate Alliance (PREA), a coalition of four major CRE-focused organizations working to grow the industry. She also testifies for CREDA Greater Philadelphia in front of local and regional legislative bodies.

The local CRE community has taken notice of Maginnis’s success. In 2022 she was named one of Bisnow’s Unsung Heros in Philadelphia commercial real estate. In 2024 Maginnis was honored with an Impact Award from City and State Magazine and was featured in the Philadelphia Business Journal. In 2025 Maginnis was named Executive Director of the Year at the CREDA Chapter Leaders and Legislative Retreat, received the VIP: Very Integral Person Award at Bisnow’s Philadelphia Women Leader Real Estate event. and was a named Philadelphia Business Journal Most Admired CEO of 2025.
