Looking back on the 2025 Honorees

Phillip Butler Jr., JLL – Emerging Leader Honoree

Phil Butler Jr. is an Associate at JLL, where he has quickly established himself as a rising star over the past four years. He specializes in developing and executing portfolio strategies and managing transactions for corporate occupiers nationally, as well as healthcare practices throughout the region. In addition to his client work, Phil leads JLL Philadelphia’s Young Professional Program.

With a people-first approach, Phil leans on his leadership background, financial acumen, and strategic growth principles to deliver meaningful results. He has contributed to more than 750,000 square feet of real estate transactions across diverse asset classes, with a focus on risk mitigation, growth, and financial analysis in the healthcare and private equity sectors. His contributions have earned him numerous recognitions, including JLL’s prestigious “Impact Award,” given to a young professional making significant contributions to both the company and the community.

Phil is a graduate of Dickinson College, where he earned a degree in Policy Management and Economics, played football as an All-Conference honoree, and served as Student Body President. He remains active in the industry and community as a member of CREDA’s Government Affairs and DEI Committees, a mentor and judge for the CREDA-Drexel Summer Program, and a sitting member of the Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Advisory Board. He is also a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Jodie Harris & Salvatore Patti – Dynamic Duo of Impact

Jodie Harris—an economic development industry leader with three decades of experience spanning the public, private, and nonprofit sectors—joined PIDC in June 2023 after nearly two decades serving in various roles in the federal government, including four years as director of the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund).

Bringing more than 30 years of experience in economic and community development, Jodie has dedicated her career to driving meaningful, sustainable, and equitable economic growth, especially in historically underserved communities. As president of PIDC, Jodie works with the organization’s partners at the City of Philadelphia and Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce—along with stakeholders in the business, civic, and philanthropic communities—to drive inclusive economic growth, vitality, and opportunity to every corner and zip code of Philadelphia.

As the head of the CDFI Fund, Jodie successfully ensured the agency fulfilled its critical function of supporting mission-driven financial institutions that take a market-based approach to supporting economically underserved communities across the country. Under her leadership, Harris annually managed an appropriated budget of approximately $300 million, including grant and administrative funding that supports the administration of various economic programs. She also led a team that  administered $3 billion in pandemic recovery funding, the highest level of appropriated grant funding in CDFI Fund history.

Jodie previously served in a variety of roles at the Department of the Treasury, including program manager, senior advisor, and director of community and economic development policy. While her work at the Treasury Department crossed several sectors, Jodie has long focused on initiatives that expand access to capital, with additional experience in community development finance and financial inclusion. Prior to her work in government, Jodie held various roles related to community economic development and empowerment from the very beginning of her career, including as a community development credit analyst with Meridian Bank before expanding her portfolio by working in the private sector as a strategic planning manager at Accenture and serving as a research analyst at the Institute for Education and Social Policy.

Jodie is a native of Philadelphia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from the University of Maryland and has also earned two graduate degrees from New York University: an MBA in finance and management and an MPA in public policy.

Salvatore is an Accomplished Corporate Banking and Wealth Management Executive with extraordinary track record of delivering strong and consistent operating and financial results while inspiring, motivating and demonstrating leadership to succeed with impeccable integrity. Demonstrated track record of success driving growth and profitability across all divisions as well as building core operating capabilities, improving digital infrastructure, decreasing cost, targeting new clients, diversifying revenue streams, and minimizing risk.

He is a change agent who emphasizes business agility and aligns the company’s vision, values, culture, structure, process, and offerings with a clear strategic plan. Inspirational leader who fosters a diverse collaborative team and culture through personal example, ongoing training and a climate of empowerment and accountability.

Salvatore joined WSFS Bank in August 2020 as The Director of Commercial Banking and Wealth Management for The Greater Philadelphia Region.  He was currently named the Managing Director  of the Commercial Bank for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Previously Salvatore was Regional Managing Director for PNC Wealth Management (2017 – 2020), PNC’s largest wealth management market: Philadelphia, Delaware, and Southern New Jersey. His primary objective was to stabilize the organization, recruiting talent, recalibrating its strategic direction, restructuring operations, and articulating a new brand.

Salvatore was also a Market Leader, Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking, (1996 –2017), guiding PNC’s largest commercial banking segment in the greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. He was also selected to work on a 1-year initiative to build a virtual banking team, executing an innovative go-to-market digital banking platform. The team was comprised of business development, IT, operations, credit, and product specialists, and was rolled out to 35 markets in 2017.

Prior to PNC, Salvatore was an Assistant Vice President – Asset Recovery Group with CoreStates Bank; Junior Relationship Manager, Special Loans Officer, and Asset Base Lending Auditor for Meridian Bank; and Staff Accountant with Zinberg & Co. CPAs.

Demonstrating finesse for connecting people, customers, organizations, business leaders, and political operatives, to promote mutually beneficial growth, Salvatore also Chaired PNC’s bi-partisan political action committee regionally. He re-engaged PNC into the political process by articulating the bank’s commitment to supporting candidates at state, local and federal levels.

Serving on the executive boards of several charitable groups, Salvatore lends his expertise in financial strategy and management to such diverse, prominent organizations including:  The Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC), Chairman of The Board, Thomas Jefferson University– The Kanbar College of Design, Engineering & Commerce Advisory Board, Rowan University Foundation Board, The Avenue of the Arts Board, United Negro College Fund (UNCF) – Mayors Masked Ball and Philadelphia Chapter Council, The Mann Center Council.

Salvatore has been honored by the National Italian American Political Action Committee (NIAPAC), Sicilian Confederation of North America, The Philadelphia Pinnacle Award, The Variety Club Golden Heart Award, The Center for Grieving Children Award and the 2024 Corporate Campfire Good Scout Award by the Cradle of Liberty Council He is also a graduate of Leadership Philadelphia.

Salvatore earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Accounting & Finance from Philadelphia University,  Fluent speaking in Italian, was born in Palermo, Sicily, immigrated to the United States in 1968 and resides in Philadelphia’s Girard Estate.

Rebecca Nuver, Parkway Corporation – Woman of Impact Honoree

Rebecca Nuver is Director of Real Estate Development and Construction for Parkway Commercial Properties, where she leads pre-development and construction across Philadelphia and a growing national portfolio. Since joining Parkway in 2022, she has played a key role in delivering Amble, a 61-unit boutique residential property in Old City, and overseeing the Chubb Center, a 500,000-square-foot Class A office tower and destination workplace in Philadelphia’s CBD.

Since 2010, Rebecca has successfully managed delivery of over $1 billion in projects across sectors, including higher education, luxury residential, and large-scale mixed-use. She has a diversity of experience that includes work in Philadelphia, New York, and international markets. Rebecca is an avid early adopter of technology, always seeking new ways to streamline the development process while producing exceptional results.

Rebecca earned her degree from Syracuse University’s School of Architecture and is passionate about mentorship and community engagement. She regularly hosts aspiring real estate professionals to shadow her in the workplace, introducing them to the industry and fostering the next generation of women leaders.

Alexis Clark, Morgan Properties – Trailblazer Honoree

Alexis Clark is a dedicated real estate professional at Morgan Properties, one of the nation’s largest multifamily owners and operators. In her role, Alexis supports the company’s mission of providing high-quality housing across diverse communities by bringing strong analytical skills, operational insight, and a passion for resident-focused solutions.

A proud alumna of the CREDA-Drexel Summer Program (2019), Alexis has remained actively engaged with CREDA Greater Philadelphia, contributing to programming and mentorship initiatives that help students and young professionals explore careers in commercial real estate. Her journey from program participant to industry professional exemplifies her commitment to continuous growth and leadership.

Alexis is recognized for her collaborative approach, attention to detail, and drive to make an impact not only within Morgan Properties but also in the broader Philadelphia real estate community. She represents the next generation of leaders shaping the future of the industry.
